AIMS & ATMOSPHERE: Our aim is to allow members to taste wines under three general headings Old World, New World, and Developing World. The latter includes wines from Morocco, Moldova, Greece, Eastern Europe. The first two ‘worlds are readily identifiable.
In general we are ‘enthusiastic amateurs

ATTENDANCES: Our membership is approx 25.

SPECIAL FEATURES: Our membership is divided into four Tasting Teams. A member of each team sits on the Council - the governing body. Each team, in turn organises a monthly meeting (raffle, Cheese bread etc.). Programmes are planned by the Council, using data obtained from members at the May AGM. The treasurer sets the budget for meetings and the secretary contacts the presenters and organises the scheduling of events.
